Vice President of Product and Service Development
Dr. Bonnie A. Hain serves as CenterPoint’s Vice President for Product and Service Development and has over 25 years of experience in the field of education. Bonnie began as a teacher of world languages and English language arts in grades 7–12 with her bachelor’s degree in Spanish/English education from The State University of New York at Albany. After receiving a Master’s degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and doctorate from The State University of New York at Stony Brook in English, Bonnie went on to teach university courses in English and English education in California, Louisiana, and Maryland.
For several years, Bonnie served as an instructional and assessment specialist for the Maryland State Department of Education before she returned to K–12 district positions where she worked as a middle school English and reading teacher, a building administrator, and a district curriculum director. Bonnie lives in Maryland with her husband.
Bonnie is also grateful for her favorite teacher, Mr. Lubin, who in high school changed her life by helping her get into college, and by finding funding for it, allowing her to become the first person in her family to earn a four-year degree.
