Senior Program Associate, Policy Research and Design, Parcc Inc.
A native of Turkey, Ruhan brings a wealth of worldly and educational experience to CenterPoint, where she works as a Senior Program Associate for Policy Research and Design. In this role, she provides technical support and project management for CenterPoint’s assessment systems. Prior to joining CenterPoint, Ruhan worked at TrueSkills Inc., as a data scientist, and at the University of Colorado-Boulder as a research assistant, while she was earning her Ph.D.
In addition to earning her doctorate in the United States, Ruhan also holds an integrated bachelor’s/Master’s degree from Bogazici University in her hometown of Istanbul, Turkey. It was at Bogazici where she met her favorite professor, a chemistry instructor who helped her fully realize the importance of collaboration between classmates, colleagues, and academics. Ruhan currently resides in northern Virginia.
