Senior Instructional Designer
Kevin Bruney serves as a Senior Instructional Designer for Mathematics for CenterPoint. He develops the summative and diagnostic assessment math assessments and contributes to the development and presentation of other non-summative products, including webinars, modules, and courses.
Kevin has 8 years of experience as a middle and high school mathematics teacher and also previously worked as the math content expert in the assessment section of the Arizona Department of Education before to joining the PARCC Inc. team. Kevin earned his bachelor’s degree in management and organizational development from Fresno Pacific University, and his Master’s degree in education from University of Phoenix. He resides in the Phoenix area, where he coaches youth basketball in his spare time.
His favorite teacher, Mr. Olsen, challenged his high school classes and respected the students he taught for the people they were, which made a strong impact on Kevin during his secondary education years.
