Director of Business Planning and Operations
As the Director of Business Planning and Operations, Allison is responsible for overseeing customer service related to Previ Teaching and Learning products, ensuring that orders are fulfilled in a timely, reliable manner. Prior to joining CenterPoint, Allison worked at Parcc Inc. and Achieve, serving an integral role in the nascent years of the PARCC assessments. She led strategic planning initiatives, authoring analyses of state education initiatives, and conducting benchmarking research in support of Common Core State Standards.
Prior to her work at Achieve and Parcc Inc., Allison worked at the American Institutes for Research, where she was responsible for overseeing much of the state and district implementation of Reading First grants. She received her bachelor’s degree from Allegheny College in political science, and her Master’s degree of public policy from George Washington University. Allison attributes her decision to focus on political science in college to her 10th grade U.S. history teacher, Mr. Hoffman, whose infectious passion for civics and history made a strong impact on her.
She resides in Pittsburgh, her hometown.
