Lesley Muldoon

Chief of Staff

When it comes to keep multiple projects and programs right on track, Lesley excels. She’s responsible for coordinating all functions and activities necessary for successful delivery of CenterPoint’s educational offerings.

With 15+ years of experience working with senior policymakers, Lesley’s work over the past six years with Parcc Inc. and Achieve involved supporting high-priority policy and operational decisions by the PARCC Governing Board, Executive Committee and State Leads. In 2014-15, she supervised the successful, 5 million student launch of the PARCC summative assessments. A former associate director at Achieve, she played key roles in consortium governance and communications, development of data privacy and security policy, and managed the consortium’s successful efforts to secure the $186 million Race to the Top assessment grant that supported the development of the PARCC assessment system and tools.

Lesley received a bachelor’s degree in English and history from the University of Maryland and a master’s in public policy from Georgetown. Her favorite teacher is her mother, who taught high school English for more than 40 years, impacted the lives of thousands, and who instilled both her students and Lesley with a belief that they could grow up to accomplish great things.
